Should Scrabble include slang words?

Scrabble has released its updated list of Official Scrabble Words and some of its new words has raised some eyebrows. The list includes words such as Facetime, Pwn, Bezzy, Blech, and Wahh, which are definitely not words you would find in a traditional dictionary. Do you think that Scrabble should include these words that people actively use in their daily conversations? Or should Scrabble follow the language prescribed by grammar books and dictionaries?

Is Josh Duggar being punished enough?

InTouch recently came out with a report that Josh Duggar, the eldest son of the family that stars on TLC’s “19 Kids and Counting,” sexually molested underage girls when he was a teenager. Duggar and his family has recently released statements on Facebook, with Duggar saying "Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret...We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling.” In the wake of the public exposure of these news, Duggar has resigned from his position at the Christian lobbying group, the Family Research Council (FRC). TLC has pulled “19 Kids and Counting” from its schedule. Do you think that Duggar should be punished more for his actions?

Is George Stephanopoulos being truthful about his Clinton Foundation donations?

George Stephanopoulos has stepped forward with an apology for not disclosing his $75,000 donation to the Clinton Foundation, which viewers believe presents a conflict of interest in his interview with Clinton Foundation critic Peter Schweizer. In his apology, Stephanopoulos says that although his donation is public information, he is sorry for not making additional disclosures on air. He also added that his donation to the foundation was strictly to support “work done to stop the spread of AIDS, help children, and protect the environment in poor countries” (The Daily Beast). Do you accept his apology and believe him to be sincere?
